A huuuge thank you goes out to Music Hall volunteer Greg Jacquin who painstakingly collected record donations from over 50 generous donors throughout Westchester this past summer and orchestrated a monumental record sale with over 10,000 records on October 30 and 31, 2021, raising $6000 for the nonprofit Music Hall!! Greg, a Tarrytown native and musician in his own right, raised $2000 with the first vinyl sale in June 2021, bringing the total profits to $8000!

Special thanks to all of the generous people who donated records, Sing Sing Kill Brewery and the many volunteers who carried heavy tables and records to and from the sale and assisted customers. We are especially grateful for volunteers Jason Brower, Lee Parker and David Tabb! Also a great big thank you to the music lovers who still believe in the nostalgic magic of vinyl and came to purchase the records in droves. As we flipped through the rows and rows of albums, it was heartwarming to see so many familiar names of artists who have played the Music Hall. Keep your eyes open for Rosanne Cash’s records which she very generously signed during her performance at the Music Hall on November 13, 2021!
Super volunteer Greg also staged the first and a very special Singer/Songwriting concert on October 26, 2021 at the Music Hall. He will organize a second one this coming spring.
And Greg’s enthusiasm for music doesn’t end here! MARQUEE RECORDS – created and spearheaded by Greg – is The Music Hall’s first record shop and opened on November 18, 2021. Completely run by volunteers, the shop will be open on an ongoing basis, dates and times to be announced at Music Hall patrons will have the opportunity to browse the vinyls at performances.

Proceeds from the shop benefit the nonprofit Music Hall.
