Celebrating Our New Steinway Model D Concert Grand Piano
On February 13, 2018, The Music Hall celebrated an amazing gift of a beautiful Steinway Model D Concert Grand Piano by Board Member Kent Sheng. This model is the gold standard for the world’s top music venues and an incredible asset for The Music Hall for decades to come. The evening included a very special performance by pianist Joel Martin who dazzled the audience with his creative fusion of classical composition and jazz innovation ignited with a fresh spirit all his own. Thank you to all who joined us for this special occasion including State Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins, Mayor Drew Fixell, and Alissa Jacobs from the Office of State Assemblyman Tom Abinanti.
