V. ARTS EDUCATION SPONSORSHIP: $5K and up
The Music Hall believes the arts should be accessible to all, regardless of financial imitations.
- Music Lesson Scholarships:
The Music Hall works with The Public Schools of the Tarrytowns to identify talented music students in need. - Free School Residencies:
Every year, the Music Hall offers two two-week school theater residencies to the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns where 57% of the children are on free lunch. The residencies are provided without any cost to the school or students. Students who normally would not have the inclination or financial means to participate in theater are given a full theatrical experience, complete with professional directors, choreographers, musical directors, sets, costumes, props and live music accompaniment. The rehearsals are held at the schools and the final performances are staged at the Music Hall. The entire student body of the school attends the performances, often experiencing theater for the first time. - Pay What You Can Policy:
Students are given the opportunity to participate in youth theater productions, camps and classes.
