Peter Royston, a director, playwright and educator, was one of the Founding Directors of the Music Hall Academy. These days, Peter is heading up Anywhere Theatre Company, a theatrical venture dedicated to creating immersive experiences for general audiences and educational programs for schools and communities (and working closely with the Tarrytown Music Hall!) Peter was the writer and director for the plays Dracula & The Theatre of Doom, Save Santa and The Spectre Bridegroom, all of which had their sold-out premieres at the Music Hall. A theatre educator for more than 20 years, Peter wrote over 50 study guides for Broadway, Off Broadway and touring productions, as well as an educational guide about the artist Al Hirshfeld for the NYC Department of Education and a co-writer on the DOE’s Theatrical Education Blueprint.
