Josh Lewis is a director, writer, performer and educator living in Sleepy Hollow, NY. Prior to moving up the Hudson, Josh spent nearly three decades in New York City where he acted, directed and wrote for countless theater companies, including the Atlantic Theater Company, Manhattan Theater Club, Naked Angels and the 52nd Street Project. He was an original co-writer and cast member of C-R-E-P-A-S-C-U-L-E which evolved into the Tony Award winning 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Josh’s career in TV encompasses extensive writing and performing for networks such as Comedy Central and MTV, and appearances on many TV shows including Law & Order, Late Night with Conan O’Brien and numerous commercials for burgers, beverages and gas. Josh has been an arts educator for over thirty years, teaching at institutions such as NYU, the Atlantic Acting School, Yale School of Drama, Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, New York Film Academy, and the New York City Public School system, and is the founder and artistic director of the Sleepy Hollow Arts Collective.
