HJ Farr

Aerial Silks

HJ Farr (they/them) is an actor/writer/aerialist born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. They graduated with Honours from Sheridan Institute’s prestigious Music Theatre Program in Canada, moved to Madison, Wisconsin where they fell in love with aerial circus, and then finally found a home in NYC! HJ has performed Aerial Hammock, Dance Trapeze, Lyra, Contortion, Silks, Spanish Web, Cloud Swing, and on custom apparatus with various companies and stages, including Madison Circus Space, Cycropia Aerial Dance, Broom Street Theater, The Muse Brooklyn, Aerial Arts NYC, Big Top, Let Them Eat Cake, Ankole Circus, and The Slipper Room NYC. In addition to teaching, HJ enjoys writing poetry every morning, sewing/visibly mending, and taking care of their cat (Mowgli) and dog (Computer) with their spouse (Kip)!
