As leader of 60’s legends The Bluesbreakers, he discovered and mentored a who’s who of rock legends: Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Peter Green, John McVie, Mick Fleetwood, Aynsley Dunbar are just a few of the great British rockers who got their start with Mayall. He’s continued to perform and record prolifically. His latest CD, Tough, was released in September of this year and features his great new band that includes Texas rock/blues legend Rocky Athas on guitar.

Curt Ebersole, conductor/music director This volunteer adult community wind ensemble, now in its 22nd year, provides opportunities for players and audiences alike to enjoy the finest music for winds/percussion by award-winning composers, along with the area's finest soloists. All season long WSW will be celebrating the most popular works of John Barnes Chance, with two works by this award-winning composer on each program. Sisters In Soul (3/18)
A MUSIC HALL/MUSIC WITHOUT BORDERS CO-PRESENTATION A Classic Soul party, celebrating three of the greatest performers in classic R&B! Two time Grammy nominee Marcia Ball’s fiery blend of fiery New Orleans R&B and piano boogie has been making her large and enthusiastic fan base dance in the aisles for more than two decades. Bettye Lavette, one of the great voices in classic 60’s soul, has experienced an incredible recent resurgence. Her 2007 album, Scene of the Crime, was Grammy nominated and recorded with alt-rock heroes the Drive By Truckers. Grammy nominated Maria Muldaur shot to fame in the early 70’s with her classic Midnight at the Oasis and is one of the most dynamic performers in American roots music. .

Inti-Illimani & Francesca Gagnon (3/28)
The voice of Cirque du Soleil's Alegria, Francesa Gagnon is known the world over as possessing one of the most indentifiable voices in music. The soundtrack to Alegria topped the Billboard World Music charts for more than a year. For well over 30 years, Inti-Illimani (the name translate as "Sun God") has held a beacon for Chilean music, both the traditional folk styles and the more contemporary nueva cancion. As one of the most famous artists in South America and outspoken critics of the dictatorship in Chile, they were forced into exile for 15 years.
